They’re trying to charge me thousands for something I never agreed to. I feel like they’re ripping me off.

The house is small, comfortable, affordable, and has the amenities, including air conditioning and internet. There's an Oxxo a block away. But it's somewhat far from town, so you'll need a car, and Uber is almost nonexistent there. The internet was slow, and service felt impersonal. The person who greeted us kept saying she wasn't the owner and couldn't take responsibility for anything that happened, and the owner never helped us. We also weren't told that construction was about to begin, and one day workers arrived and started digging.
