Distrito Corazón Playa del Carmen

Estefania was such a warm and welcoming host, and sent us tons of suggestions for things to do and places to eat nearby. My boyfriend and I loved this little Airbnb so much during our 6 days in Playa that I recommended it to my parents, who are going to mexico in February. We had a beautiful, clean room with two beds, a water cooler, umbrellas to borrow, and housekeeping once during our stay. It was fantastic.

I stayed for one month and would happily come back. It’s comfortable, good value, and in a fantastic location. Estefania and her partner manage the place really well and are always willing to help if there’s an issue with the room. Definitely recommend.

I was meant to stay at Alux for just a week, but ended up there for 2 momths. Estefania and her partner were so kind that I felt at home, especially in the apartments with a terrasse. It’s right in the heart of playa del carmen, just steps from la quinta avenue, so it’s easy to get around on foot. Thanks so much for having me. I’ll come back. ♥️🦁🙏🏼🌙

For around 30 Canadian bucks, you get your own private suite with air con and hot water. The suite, building, and street are super quiet, even though you’re a block from the nightlife and best restaurants, under a 5 minute walk to the beach and 5th ave. The staff make this the top place in centro pdc for budget travelers. They’re super helpful, speak English, and are always cleaning and maintaining the rooms and building. They’re quick to help with what you need. Don’t waste ages looking around like I did, you won’t find anything close at this price.
