Family Selection At Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

The Family Selection pool had a relaxed family feel and seemed nicely tucked away from the party atmosphere. There were plenty of shaded seats, and Maria was a delight to talk with. She remembered my kids' names and favorite drinks, and was such a friendly, attentive server. We stayed in villa 40, a beachside suite with a separate bedroom and living space, so the kids had a sofa bed and the parents had their own room. Sitting on the balcony with that lovely beach view was a treat. The restaurants, lobby, and walkways were beautiful too. Housekeeping and turndown were great, and the kids loved finding cookies on their pillows.

At the Family Selection pool, Maria was so kind and attentive, and the butler service was prompt. They even made plain carrot and chicken purée for our six-month-old and left a baby care kit in our room, lovely little touches. Service was fantastic and we had a great stay with the baby. There aren't any elevators, which made getting around with a stroller a bit challenging. Otherwise, I'd recommend it for families with little ones.

We went to The Nest for breakfast every morning, it was our favorite. The food and service were excellent, and Javier, Mizael, and Leo were great to us. The Brazilian restaurant was a highlight too: fresh food, great service, and they even came up with a special cocktail when I couldn't decide what to order. This has been one of my favorite stays.

The people, accommodations, and genuine hospitality are why we'd gladly return to Family Selection Kantenah. We've stayed at several Riviera Maya resorts, and this was a wonderful place overall. Emmanuel was professional, attentive, and proactive, even arranging reservations for our whole vacation on arrival day. At the beach, Leonarda, Joel, Alfredo, and Jose treated us like family, remembered all our names, including the kids', and had real conversations with us. Diana also handled the big group ahead of us and our family gracefully during a busy arrival period. Thanks to Maria and Xtel for patiently helping me practice Spanish, and to David for finding a favorite dessert. Our suite was spacious and beautiful, and meals were consistently good. We especially enjoyed Sumptuori and Paisana, the pizza at Portofino, and the breakfast buffets at The Nest. We did have a rough start with the resort's contracted transport company, W2X BDM, which I wouldn't recommend. At checkout, things were mostly smooth, but the golf cart arrived later than arranged. Beachside lunch choices were limited, and service at the FA Pool was slow, perhaps because there weren't enough staff. Some days there were too few beach chairs because neighboring beachgoers were using them. These are smaller issues, but attention to them could better match the premium price.
