Hom Boutique Hostel

The reception folks were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was a great free perk. The rooms and beds were clean, with air conditioning at night. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the centro, close enough without being right there.

We got to spend time socializing with other travelers, which was great. The place is conveniently located, with the beach and bus station ADO not far away.

I had a great stay at HOM hostel. The female dorms and location were both great, and breakfast was free. Staff were cool and helpful. There’s a pool, rooftop, and kitchen, and the rooms and shared areas are cleaned every day.

The location worked well for getting around: ADO main terminus is about 10 minutes away, and the tourist terminus is roughly 20. Breakfast was decent, too. I slept pretty well here, and the USB-C wall plug was a really handy touch. I liked having two rooftops, though the coworking area gets too hot to work in. That was the one thing that kept me from staying longer. There seemed to be more volunteers than guests, but it didn't bother me at all. I've stayed in hostels where that was the case and disliked it, so this was a first. Thanks to Dani, Nancy, Ania, Michael, and anyone else whose name I've forgotten.
