Hotel Yum K'iin

I didn’t feel welcome at all during my stay. The staff were very unfriendly, and cleaners would come straight into the room without any sign being put up. The shower was tiny, and the AC was so loud. The bed was uncomfortable, with only sheets provided and no blankets. There was no sound isolation. I could hear everything from outside, other guests and staff, who were noisy all day. I was also concerned about the room keys: all the rooms apparently use the same key, and a man “mistakenly” and “accidentally” came into my room using his room key.

After another hotel cancelled our reservation, we arrived here at midnight. They gave us a lovely room at a great rate, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The prices were fair, especially compared with what other hotels nearby charge. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Our second-floor room had a balcony and lovely natural light. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. We appreciated having a fridge and microwave in the lobby, plus hot coffee in the morning. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again.

The hotel is central and close to things, and the rooms were very clean. They’re normal looking for the value, nothing over the top. Most of all, the staff were kind, supportive and honest. Thanks so much for helping us during the stay and even after we’d left. I’d really recommend this hotel.
