Great location and good vibes, with cool staff. I met some awesome people without even trying.

It was so noisy that I couldn’t sleep, with loud music going until the early hours. The facilities were in terrible shape and seemed broken, and there was no hot water at all during my stay. For the price, the room and the experience were unacceptable. I’d never stay here again and would tell others to look elsewhere.

The place has a unique feel, with lots of local artwork and a friendly atmosphere. The staff made my wife and me feel welcome, and it was just right for our quick trip to Playa. It’s close to the beach and nightlife, too. We’d definitely stay again next time we’re back.

The room was large, but odd, with a door that was difficult to lock and a window that let people see inside. I also had serious trouble getting out. I’d arranged with reception to leave my keys somewhere safe because I needed to check out very early, and made sure the manager knew about it. But that morning, both the entrance gate and the portal in front of the hotel were locked, and no key would open either one. I had to climb through a gap between the top of the gate and the ceiling. I got scratched badly enough to bleed, and could have missed my transatlantic flight if I hadn’t made it through. A fire late at night here could be very dangerous. I stayed in December 2023. The place was cheap, and the reception employees were nice and polite, but there was extreme noise until at least 2 a.m. From my room it felt like I was right in the discoteca. I have a lot of doubts about the truthfulness of the reviews I’m reading here.
