Kin Sol Soleil Maroma Bay

Even with the huge seaweed bloom that affected areas from Mexico to Florida in July 2019, the beach was lovely. The staff, rooms, and amenities were all so nice. The food and massage were world class, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. What a fantastic place, we’ll certainly be back :)

Kin Sol Soleil on Maroma beach, Riviera maya is a dream of a place, and by far the most amazing spot I’ve visited in the Caribbean. I’ve been to just about every kind of place across the region, including Aruba, Curasao, Virgin islands, Antigua, Barbados, Domenican, and Mexico at least 20 times. I’ve stayed at high-end places, cheap ones, all-inclusives and non-inclusives. This is the cutest and most beautiful place of them all, and belongs on everyone’s bucket list. If you prefer an all-inclusive holiday, this probably isn’t for you. Rooms cost between 300 and 800 per night, breakfast included, and it’s worth every penny. The beach, service, grounds, everything, is a 10. Josue and Fernando are amazing waiters who make you feel at home, and restaurant manager Patrik is great. Since there are only 10 rooms, you see the general manager Nikolai every day. He’s a very cool guy. Restaurant Pavo Real has great food. Even if you can’t afford to stay at the hotel, at least have diner there and be amazed. Thanks to the whole crew at Kin Sol Soleil for giving us something to dream about each night. Now the dream is over and we’re back to reality and work, so we can keep dreaming until we return in September. Ciao King Sol Soleil...... Juliette and Tony

Seven days at Kin Sol Soleil went by in what felt like seven minutes. I’m back home in New Jersey now, fully recharged, and will return in December to do it again. The tiny hotel gives you personal service that’s almost like having a butler. They know you by name, and after my many visits they know exactly what I like to eat and drink, and when. It makes you feel like a KING. The beach beds, atmosphere, and service at sister restaurant “Pavo Real by the Sea” are just perfect. This was my fourth stay, and I love the place more every time. I’ve stayed in both Boutique Jungle Villas, Castelli and Marelena, as well as the two-bedroom suite XUXU. It’s simply PERFECT. An architect owns and designed this amazing place, and his ultimate project was creating his own hotel. Built in the jungle in front of Maroma, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, it feels out of this world. Guests from nearby hotels look over as they walk along the beach, and I imagine they think, “I wish I was there.” If you can afford Maroma Hotels, you can afford this place. Juliette and Tony
