The rooms were in unacceptable shape. One was dirty, with cockroaches and used toilet paper in the bathroom; another had broken air conditioning. There were no towels, and the beds were dirty. In my room, the AC was only in the living room, leaving the bedroom unbearably hot. The balcony door facing Fifth Avenue wouldn't lock properly, so someone could get in from the balcony. With no bedroom door, we felt completely unsafe. The building had virtually no security and seemed very easy for anyone to enter. Getting there was frustrating because the location wasn't clearly specified, and several people we asked couldn't tell us where it was. When we went back to ask where to park, the receptionist had a terrible attitude and acted like nothing mattered. We arrived around 3:00 AM after a long flight, expecting an easy check-in, but there was nobody at the office. We waited over 10 minutes in the heat with no sign saying where staff were or if they would return. I had to message through Booking.com to ask what to do. We checked out as soon as we could on Thursday, June 25, because we couldn't stay any longer. One of the worst hotel experiences we've had. We won't return, and I can't recommend this property.
