At $65, I expected better. We had room 210, where the bathroom looked very old and dirty, and several things in it were broken or worn out. The window was broken too, and its curtains were filthy. The mosquito net didn't fit the window, so it was no use. There are better places in the same neighborhood for the same price. I wouldn't go here.

The room was hot, and the air conditioning barely worked, so I woke up sweating every morning. The hotel also looked nothing like the pictures when we arrived. The shower was ice cold, and after my friend got sick I went downstairs to ask for help. The receptionist said the boiler worked only at certain times, something nobody had told us. She suggested using the shower at reception, but that didn't work either. She then turned on the boiler, and we waited 20 minutes, but still had no water. I asked for a solution and was told someone would come fix it. After another 15 minutes, nobody had. Then she asked another hotel, the girl was nice but didn't

For 700 pesos, I got a private room with organic shampoo and soap, and the receptionist was friendly. Good value, though the swimming pool was cold.

The price is low, which is why I'm giving it three stars. The staff are welcoming and nice, but the furnishings leave a lot to be desired. You get what you pay for, as the saying goes.

It's calm here, though the atmosphere feels a bit dated. The rooms were clean, and there's a small pool, but it wasn't very clean.
