The staff were very nice, but that didn't make up for our bad breakfast. Birds ate from our breakfast each morning, and construction nearby brought a lot of noise and dust. I liked the staff a lot, but someone from the staff stole my wife's watch and wedding ring from her open bag in our room. After that, I strongly advise against visiting.

The beach was amazing, so I still had a nice time, but I wouldn't stay here again. For what I paid, I expected more. Service was basic, our room felt damp and smelled strange, and breakfast wasn't very good.

It was a charming place to stay in Playa del Carmen, with good service and everything close by.

Mosquito Beach is gone. The property is now a hotel under another name, and it doesn't have a beach.
