Irene made check-in and check-out easy, and she was friendly and easy to reach. The apartment had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen and fast internet to hot water, towels, a hair dryer, beach chairs, and an umbrella. The bed was comfortable, and there was a sleeper sofa too. We also had a balcony with a distant view of the beach. The building felt safe, was very clean and well cared for, and had a concierge around the clock. There’s a rooftop pool and jacuzzi, hammocks, a gym, laundry facilities, and lovely views. It’s close to 5th Avenue, the beach, Oxxo, Ah Cacao, Súper Chedraui Selecto 10th Ave, restaurants, and a track and exercise park. I had a wonderful stay at Piedra Azul apartment@ Playa del Carmen MX and would highly recommend Irene and the property to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen Mexico.

We found the condo comfortable and surprisingly roomy, with a small two-burner stove, compact fridge, kitchen utensils, plates, and a dining table. The bathroom was spacious enough to get ready comfortably. There’s also an on-site laundromat, a nice gym, and a rooftop pool and hot tub. Piedrazul is easy to get around from. We walked most places, even though we had a car, and taxis or local buses are easy options too. The beach, restaurants, nightlife, and culture are all close by. The building was very clean and well kept, with cameras in the building and some individual units, plus staff and security day and night. We had a great experience and recommend staying here in Playa.

I like staying on this north side of central Playa because it’s quieter than the main strip south of Avenida Constituentes. There are lots of dining choices, music venues with local performers, the super Aki supermarket nearby, and the beach is a short walk away. The rooms are comfortable and modern, and the amenities are a big part of why this is my favorite condo in Playa. The rooftop has great views, cozy hammocks, a large pool, and an exercise room.

The location and rooftop pool were the parts I liked most. But there were stains and dust around the property, and cleaning needs to improve. The fridge was hard to use because ice had built up in the freezer. Plant care and general building maintenance also need attention. Mould is developing in this apartment, 401, and apparently in other units too. I’m concerned guests could get sick or have mould allergies that trigger asthma attacks. I wouldn’t recommend staying in PieDrazul.

We stayed a month in Wade's Airbnb, Unit 603, and the apartment was lovely, modern, and well equipped. It had AC, a smart TV, stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and washer/drier. The location is hard to beat, just steps from 5th Ave and two blocks from the best market in town. Wade was the best host, making sure everything went smoothly and sending lots of ideas for places to eat and things to do. Highly recommend. 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
