I had a really nice stay overall. The only snag was that the WiFi network the owner gave me, which was meant to let me connect and tell them I was outside waiting for the key, didn’t work. They live really close to Playa On time, but they need to know when you’re arriving so they can bring the key. I ended up walking 15 minutes to find a Starbucks and let them know I was there.
This isn’t a hotel anymore.
The service was terrible and the place was ridiculously expensive, like a luxury hotel, yet there was no soap or shampoo. We had no water for three days, which was the worst part 😒. One bedspread had three drops of blood on it, the pillows smelled like drool even with clean covers, and the living room sofas were filthy. They also tried to charge us extra for electricity, even though the water pump used a lot of power. Apparently the daily price only included 10 watts of electricity, so air conditioning is charged separately.
We stayed just one night and didn’t get a chance to use the service. The rooms were very pleasant and the location was very good. It was a good stay.
A wonderful place in paradise. I’ll be back next year!
