No toiletries in the room or bathroom, and the whole hotel feels like it's going to fall apart. The middle-aged guy at the front is rude and disrespectful. He makes up random policies to charge you for anything he can, talks to you while doing something else, then ignores you when someone else checks in or asks a question. Never going back, and I wouldn't recommend booking here. Trash!

Oscar and Franklin at the bar were especially good with customer service and kept the bar organized. The front desk receptionists were all very nice and helpful, and the maids did a really good job, so remember to tip them. Our room was clean, the bed and pillows were cozy, and the water pressure was good with hot water. We had a nice one-week stay at this fun boutique hotel. Be aware, there's a charge of 300$ pesos per person per night at check-in, but breakfast is included and consistently pretty good, along with open bar at the rooftop pool from 12-6pm. The place has fun aesthetics, with a unique building, skylights in the halls, and hanging plants. I liked that it was an "adult" place, so I wasn't surrounded by children at the pool and could really "relax". The pool is very clean, with water lounging chairs, and good music plays after 12pm. I'd recommend a stay at Reina Rojo.

The hotel is cute and has good possibilities, but right now it needs to get its shit together. There are extensive renovations, with hammering first thing in the morning, and the pool and rooftop sunning weren't available. None of that was mentioned when booking. They also seem unable to provide basics like an iron and hairdryer. There's a strange “tax” at check-in, which I think goes toward the reception person's dinner. RIP OFF. They asked for a 200 pesos towel deposit, but never seemed to have more than one towel. My 2 pesos, Greg T.

Even if the service and location are decent, the cockroaches keep showing up at night. They said they had fumigated that day, but it didn't help. I had to ask reception for Raid spray and kept it with me for the rest of my stay. Avoid this hotel.
