Sandos Caracol Eco Resort & Water Park is a fantastic resort which is a perfect blend of fresh luxury and eco-friendly design and facilities. Here, style and substance exist in perfect balance. The hotels impeccable service exceeds every expectation to guarantee guests unlimited amounts of fun and relaxation. A great hotel whether guests are travelling with their family, significant other or friends. Check-out time is at 12 noon, and guests must vacate the property by 1:00 p. m. There will be an additional charge of $20 USD per person per hour for late check-out, payable directly at the reception. The water park will be closed one day a week for preventative maintenance.

The specialty restaurants need to be booked ahead, and getting a reservation was quite difficult. I wish Sandos Caracol Nature Resort made that process easier for guests. I was there with my mom for my birthday and Chinese New Year, and we had a really pleasant visit. The resort sits in a beautiful jungle setting with wildlife all around, which made it feel relaxing and different. Staff throughout were warm and welcoming. We also found the food good overall, with lots of choices at the buffet and restaurants. It was a lovely way to celebrate with my mom, and I'd recommend it to people who enjoy nature and a restful resort atmosphere.

For our first family holiday, Sandos Caracol had everything we wanted, from animals and water slides to evening shows and fancy dining. Our best meal was hands down at Los Liros. The food was fantastic, and the service was top notch. Lizeth was such a pleasant, welcoming host, while Julien and Ricardo were quick, friendly, and generous with the pour. The manager even came by to ask how we were doing. I'll definitely book again before we leave. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Axel and Diego made the petting zoo a great experience for my daughter. They explained that all the animals are rescues and taught the kids how to treat them respectfully, while letting them feed the pigs, sheep, and rabbits. My daughter loved it. The area was regularly cleaned and well maintained, so I felt comfortable letting her sit and enjoy herself. I'd recommend it to families with children who love animals.

The Italian restaurant was amazing, and the rooms, property, and water park were great. Our girls loved seeing the wildlife. There's plenty of walking, but we didn't mind, and there was never a dull moment. Food and entertainment could be better, though. The kids would have liked more activities before the 9 PM shows, although they did enjoy the mini disco. Booking a la carte restaurants through the app at midnight is a hassle. A better system would make this a five out of five.

I had my most pleasant experience at Sandos Resort in the spa. Genny gave me a wonderful, thoroughly relaxing massage and took her time with it. I'm so grateful to her. Axel, my spa guide, was attentive and kind, and every staff member I met greeted me with a smile. I really enjoyed my visit and definitely recommend the spa.
