Suites Cielo y Mar

The sunrise view is fantastic, especially if jet lag has you awake early. The hotel is generally decent, but there are a few things to know. There's no full-length mirror, just a small one in the bathroom, where the lighting isn't great. The shower is American-style and may feel a little unusual. Pillows are quite high, and the mattresses weren't very comfortable. Breakfast is limited to toast with ham, cheese, butter, or peanut butter, cereal, coffee, tea, bananas, and apples. The coffee isn't great. Staff don't speak English, so communication can be difficult. There's no parking available, only public spots, which can be inconvenient if you're driving. Dogs in the area barked 24/7 and were quite disturbing.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and the service was good. Breakfast was good every day, too. The location is a little far from the centre, but you can rent bikes, and there are good restaurants and a nice beach very close by. We loved our stay here.

The rooftop pool has an amazing view, and there are even a few dumbbells if you want to exercise. Our neighborhood felt safe and quiet, close to Playa 72 and 88, though it's a little far from the city center. The place itself is quiet, and it wasn't full while we were there. Rooms are spacious, with a big bed, and housekeeping came every day. The view is beautiful and the staff are very helpful. Breakfast is about right for a small hotel: toast, cheese, butter, jam, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, and milk.

We walked into town every day, sometimes more than once, and as an active couple we didn't mind the distance. It's very quiet around here, with a delicious cafe called Crisol nearby. The breakfast is simple but has what you need, and the staff helped us get taxis when we asked. There's also a nice public beach area down the road. We didn't use it, but we did visit.
