The beach was breathtaking, with gorgeous clear blue-green water. We took the shuttle from the Xcaret, and the place was beautiful. It was our first time in Mexico, and also our last. Once was enough.

My wife and I arrived at 9 p.m. in March 2025, and there was nothing there. We had to scramble to find somewhere else to sleep that night. Compare the photos I included with Google Street View. As of March 2025, there was no hotel at that location. This hotel is NOT REAL.

The location and photos for this hotel are completely wrong. You can't find it where it's shown. After booking, they take you to a different location, another 15 minutes away on foot.

Getting there and back by public transport is easy. I stayed in 2014, and this is still one of my all-time favorites, one of the BEST hotels.
