Mariana at breakfast greeted us warmly each morning and remembered what we liked. Hector was just as good at breakfast and later by the pool, checking in without being intrusive and making sure we had what we needed. Both made a real difference to our stay with their friendly, professional service. The property is beautiful, the grounds are kept up well, and there’s a nice balance of relaxing and doing things. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and upscale without being pretentious. One thing to watch: if you book a Superior room through Sunwing, you don’t get a balcony, whatever the photos show. That and a few small hiccups are the only reasons I’m not giving five stars. We’d return and recommend the resort, especially if Mariana and Hector look after you.

We were able to check in smoothly even though the hotel was fully booked, thanks to front desk supervisor Jesus Colli. His hospitality was outstanding, and he went out of his way to make us feel taken care of. The resort is beautiful, comfortable, stylish, and convenient. Staff were friendly throughout, and the location is excellent: an easy walk to the ferry and close to everything, while still tucked away from heavy tourist traffic. It was peaceful but just steps from the action. I’d come back to Playa del Carmen just to stay here again. Highly recommend it.

Mariana is such a good waitress. Starting the day with her smiling face and amazing coffee is so nice. The people are warm, the location is great, and the room was clean. Vanessa was wonderful too. The massage was worth it, and hydrotherapy was an amazing extra. I’ll definitely come back!

Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful, and both the breakfast and bar staff were attentive. Daniel at reception gave us a very helpful welcome, and Hector took great care of us in the restaurant. The hydrotherapy session was part of our stay. Vanessa and Marie looked after us, and it was relaxing and enjoyable. We had a fabulous time at the five downtown hotel and residences.

The staff are pleasant and helpful, the location is good, and the rooftop pool has nice views. Breakfast is OK, and the bedrooms are clean and tidy with lots of storage, though noise comes through. A balcony would have been nice, but there don’t seem to be many. WiFi is excellent for anyone who can’t step away from life and enjoy being on holiday. The hotel is starting to look tired and could use a refresh. The water feature in the main area is now covered over, health and safety police now Mexico lol.
