We live in Cancun and had planned a well-earned beach weekend, but the stay ended badly. When we got there around midday, we were told we couldn't use the pool. Later, the air conditioning still wasn't working. The owner said he'd fixed it that afternoon by cleaning the remote, but my husband and I left for home at 3:30 a.m. without getting any sleep. Being called "very friendly" doesn't excuse disrespect or mean there should be no consequences.

The house was beautiful, and we had a lovely stay. It's in a very quiet, secluded area, yet close to the beach and town center, which we could walk to. The rooms were spacious, welcoming, and spotless. The owners were kind and always available. I highly recommend it.
