The Master Pool Suite had a very comfortable mattress, though I’d have liked a few more pillows, and the shower was great. We loved the stylish, calming design and found the staff friendly and attentive. The chef even walked us through the whole menu, which made the meal feel special. The restaurant was a highlight, especially the berenjena tostada, a wonderful creation by the chef, and breakfast was delicious too. SUUEL Hotel is conveniently placed within walking distance of La Punta and Mercado de Zicatela. Highly recommend!

The staff were really helpful, and the restaurant was very good. The dinner we had there was the best meal we ate in Puerto. We loved our time here. The room looked stunning, and the bed was large and super comfortable.

I traveled alone with my pet, and they treated her wonderfully and even provided a dog bed. Just keep in mind that pets can’t be left alone in the room, you have to stay with them. The AC worked well, and Elvira and Lea in particular were so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I felt safe the whole time as a solo female traveler, and there’s a guard at night. The hotel has a comfy, beautiful design, and I had a really lovely stay. It’s between Punta and Zicatela, which has upsides and downsides. The area is quiet, without loud music, and being between them encouraged me to take nice beach walks. It’s about 20 minutes to Punta and 25-30 to Zicatela. Roosters may start crowing as early as 4am, which could bother light sleepers, though the earplugs they offer helped. You’ll need to walk or take taxis to reach the restaurants and shops.

The restaurant was incredible, and we liked the location, with places to go out and explore within walking distance. My partner and I loved staying here in Puerto Escondido. Our room was great, and the owner and staff were attentive and helpful, with great recommendations for the area. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting, and we’ll definitely be back.
