Excellence Riviera Cancun - Adults Only All Inclusive

The Mexican fiesta was a highlight, with amazing food and entertainment. We had a great time at Excellence Riviera Cancun, and the staff were incredibly nice, always going out of their way to help. The food was really good. We just wish Agave were open more often, since it’s closed three nights a week and we couldn’t eat there at all. More evening entertainment, dancing, and later hours would be welcome too.

There were so many pools that none ever felt crowded, and every one was warm and relaxing. The food was incredible too. A similar dinner back home would easily have cost us $150+ USD. My wife and I came for our 10th anniversary, and the whole trip was everything we’d hoped for. Everyone working there, from the waiters and bartenders to the landscapers, seemed happy to be there and helped make the stay enjoyable. Five out of five. We’ll be back, and we’ve already started looking at other resorts in the Excellence collection. Thanks for a relaxing vacation and a great anniversary!

Alex, the tennis instructor, was a real highlight. He’s professional, friendly, and takes time to teach people at any skill level. We learned a lot from him, Oswaldo, and Vanessa during the activities we joined. I can’t wait to book again with my husband so he can enjoy it too. We spent five days here in May on a girls’ trip and were blown away. There are so many amenities, restaurants, and services that we couldn’t fit everything in. The restaurants serve different cuisines, so meals don’t get repetitive, and the beachside service was consistently amazing. The staff were all incredible and welcoming. There’s plenty to do beyond the beach and pool, including bike rides, archery, pickleball, volleyball, and tennis.

The beach was pristine. With the new sea barriers and tractor cleanup, there was almost no sargassum, and swimming was wonderful. By our second day, beach waiters Santos and Benjamin remembered our orders and treated us like royalty. The grounds look stunning and are meticulously cared for by the gardening crew. We loved spotting the wildlife, especially Mabel the cat. The entertainment team kept the week fun, and Kaleb was a helpful, knowledgeable guide on our bike ride. The Kitchen Table was our favorite for breakfast and lunch buffets. Shoutout to Yulisa, Carlos, Eduardo, and Christian. Flavor Market was excellent as usual, thanks to William. At Spice, the regular menu was fabulous and Adrian gave us great service, although the Hibachi experience was less engaging than it had been in past years. A big thank you to Fernando, the F&B Manager. He handled a minor restaurant issue quickly and beautifully, and made us feel like VIPs for the rest of our stay. We had a fantastic return visit and are already planning the next one.
