This is the best place I’ve stayed in Morelos. My family usually stays at the Fives, but this condo suite is bigger, cleaner, and easier, with a quiet location and all new appliances. The beds are comfy, and I’m very happy with everything. It isn’t on the beach, but the beach is just a stone’s throw away. I can’t wait to come back. Thanks so much.

The neighborhood is quiet and full of pretty homes with gardens overflowing with bougainvillea. It’s about a five-minute walk to the quieter, nicest beaches at the north end of Puerto Morelos, and around ten minutes to the main square. We were able to cook quite a bit in the one-bedroom apartment. The basic kitchen has a refrigerator, oven, gas stove, decent nonstick cookware, dishes, silverware, and a sharp knife. The refrigerator was old, though, so warm groceries took a long time to cool. The bedroom was pleasantly decorated but nothing fancy. There’s a bamboo chair and bamboo-frame sofa in the living room, along with a dining table. The bathroom is a decent size and fairly modern, but the hot water pressure is very low. In March 2025, the second-floor street-facing units seemed to be the only occupied ones. I didn’t see anyone downstairs or in the courtyard-facing apartments. The courtyard was being used to store beach loungers and other gear, which wasn’t attractive, though it didn’t matter much because the living room window faces away from it. The only outdoor space for the units is a narrow, motel-like walkway where people sit in beach chairs. The place was popular with retired Canadians in 2025, so it didn’t feel sketchy. The main safety risk was getting drawn into a long chat with someone having a drink on the walkway in the middle of the afternoon.

I’ll definitely stay here again. It’s tucked away in a quiet spot, with a very friendly reception and a safe setting. The apartment was tidy, bright, and nicely decorated, and the beds were the most comfortable I’ve had in Mexico. Some things may be dated, which could explain a few of the less favorable reviews, but the place was very clean. The lady at reception was lovely and helpful. I’m not sure what else people expected.

Great value, with a clean, comfortable apartment and very helpful staff. For short stays, it’d be useful to have a few basics like matches for the stove, dish soap, and a scrubber. Directions would help too, especially for getting from the bus on the highway into town, since that’s away from the shore’s tourist area. We found that confusing, and it was a long walk.

Our last day in Puerto Morelos, and we hate to leave. Hotel Eden was clean and had all the comforts of home. Having kitchen appliances let us buy groceries locally, balance our meal costs, and enjoy some meals out as well. We arrived more than an hour late because of a delayed flight, but Justine at the front desk gave us a very pleasant welcome. She was helpful with information and anything else we needed. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, a few minutes’ walk from the beach and about ten minutes from the town center. Puerto Morelos is a lovely town, and the new Chedraui store is great for anything you might need. We’d recommend the hotel whether you’re traveling alone or with family, and would absolutely return. I can’t say enough about the place. I hope we can come back next year.
