La Buena Vida Suites

Cameron and Jaden made everything easy for our family with their hospitality and helpful guidance. Cameron is a wonderful chef, too. We talked her into making a cajun seafood boil, and I’m still dreaming about it. It was a trip of a lifetime, and we’ll absolutely visit again.

The two dogs who live on the property became part of our daily routine and brought us so much joy. They’re well behaved and made the place feel even warmer. The pool was always pristine, and the free bikes were a fun way to explore. We spent five months at Casa La Buena Vida, and it really became home in Puerto Morelos. The owners made us feel like family from day one. When the AC needed fixing on a Sunday afternoon, they had it repaired that same day, and we felt well supported throughout our stay. The property was immaculate the whole time. Being one block from the beach on a peaceful residential street worked perfectly for us. We could walk to town for dinner or head to the beach, then come back to a quiet place.

We’d happily return to Casa La Buena Vida. We’ve stayed in Puerto Morelos for long stretches over the years, but this was our first time here. The apartment was clean, quiet, safe, well equipped, and a short walk from the beach. The bed was comfortable, and they kindly provided portable beach chairs, towels, and bicycles at no extra cost if we wanted them. The owners were friendly while giving us the space we prefer for a longer stay in a small place. A great extra was the free yoga sessions Cameron offered to guests a few times a week. She’s an excellent teacher.

We spent a few months in the villa and it really felt like home. We worked remotely, and the internet was fast and reliable. It had everything we needed: good kitchenware, towels, water jugs, comfortable king beds, games, exercise gear, beach chairs, a cooler, bikes, and an outdoor BBQ grill. We also loved being able to pre-order food from Cameron. Her homemade gumbo is a must, and having a pot for the week when family visited was so nice. We loved our stay and have already booked for next spring. Casa la buena vida is a beautiful, well-kept property in a quieter part of town, just one block from the beach. Jaden and Cameron take great care of the grounds and respond quickly if anything comes up. It has amazing vibes.
