There's not much within walking distance besides a pharmacy and smoke shop, so the location isn't ideal for the beach or shopping. Still, we'd stay again. The building was newer, in good shape, and well maintained; the rooms were clean and the staff friendly. Security stays out front at night to keep an eye on things. He was very friendly and even let us enjoy the pool for a few extra minutes. A great little hotel for a quick last-minute trip.
After our resort harassed us so badly, we came here, right across the street. The price was great and we had no complaints. It's brand new, updated, and super clean, and the staff were quick, friendly, and accommodating. The bed was a little hard and the pillows could be better, but it was fine since we don't spend all our time in bed.
We had a pleasant stay, and the hotel is conveniently just minutes from the beach. The rooms are decent and spacious, with a nice big bathroom. Staff are friendly and do a very good job keeping the rooms clean. The pillows are small and the mattresses aren't comfortable, though.
The AC works really well, and the bathroom has good water pressure. The bed is firm, which we like. Noise carries, though, so the rooms need more soundproofing. Fine for two or maybe three days. Ask for a room away from the street.
The building is new, but that's the only nice thing I can say. There's basically no internet; I couldn't even stream an audio podcast. Noise passes easily between rooms. You can hear someone three doors down shut a door or use the bathroom. The place is right off a major road, the parking is bad, the beds feel as hard as the floor, and the pillows are useless. There's no hot tub either. Typical Mexico parking, I guess. My first Rocky Point experience, and after everyone said how great it is, it really wasn't. Try a real resort.
