We canceled because the place felt too sketchy for the relaxing stay we wanted, and we weren't refunded even though we canceled 24 hours ahead. The secluded setting had sounded nice, but what we saw before booking didn't match what we learned afterward. After paying, we got an email with do's and don'ts and found out there was no security or check-in office. Further digging turned up reports of roaches, small rooms, and poor AC, plus no nearby places to eat. Karina Baca wasn't friendly, and we couldn't speak with her, everything went through text. 10/10 don't recommend.

The drive there and the area both felt super creepy, and we found out it's not somewhere you want to stay. The lady won't answer my calls, and she won't refund us. We've decided to book at one of the nicer resorts that actually care about their guests.

I booked two days before my trip, then had to cancel the day before because something came up. They said I wouldn't get a refund. Their website says they'll charge 83%, I think, but they should at least offer credit for six months. My trip was Tuesday to Thursday in November, not a busy time, and I wasn't going to use the place. Why keep the money if I never set foot on the property, especially on a weekday in the off season? I wouldn't book here again.

The villa works well for a family week away. It has a full-size fridge, stove, and microwave, so you can cook, and it's basically a studio with a king bed, bunk beds with an extra bed underneath, and a sofa. I'd recommend buying groceries for your stay. The Malecon, Walmart, Oxxo, and other local shops are about 5-10 minutes away. This was my third visit, and all three stays have been great. The kids had a good time on this family trip, and we especially liked how peaceful the beach was. It's somewhat private, with very few people around. Definitely recommend it.
