The condo was very clean, with brand-new furniture, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and good security. There’s a small convenience store on site, and the beach and town are both nearby, though the beach was farther than I wanted and the condo isn’t right in town. It was Friday night music that made things loud. Not all the condos were finished, and the rental agency was off site. They said they’d bring a heater, but it never arrived. There was no furnace, so the bedrooms and bathrooms were very cold, and there weren’t extra blankets, beach chairs, salt, or pepper. The pool looked beautiful but was freezing, and the hot tub was cold too. A few kids were brave enough to swim.

The guards were friendly and helpful, and the unit itself was nice, with a great ocean view from the fourth floor. There’s also a little market by the guard gate, which was the best part of the stay. Still, this “new” condo needs a lot of work. Many units are unfinished, and construction seems to have stopped on most of them. I’d be shocked if it ever gets completed. The pool was incredibly noisy on Friday night, and the pool and other common areas are already starting to fall apart. The beach across the street is extremely rocky and dangerous, not suitable for playing, and Playa Bonita is a 15-minute drive away.

At 10 p.m. they expect total silence, so enjoying the place has limits. There’s only one working elevator, and renovations are underway, but those facts are hidden. They also don’t inspect the unit when you arrive. Take lots of photos so you won’t be blamed for broken or stained items. Linda Vista condominiums feels focused on profit. They took my money and won’t give credits or refunds. If you can find somewhere better than Linda Vista or Sunset Escape in Puerto Peñasco, look elsewhere. You’ll be glad you did.

The Gulf views are awesome, and the beds were comfy, even the sleeper sofas. Having a convenience and liquor store on site was a nice bonus.
