Palacio del Mar by Rocky Host

This place has become our home away from home. We stay at Palacio Del Mar at least three times a year, and love the location. When the tide goes out, the kids enjoy collecting shells and other things, and Mannys beach club is just a three-minute walk away. Amy is always a pleasure to deal with and has been extremely accommodating, including when we wanted two condos side by side for my parents’ anniversary. The security staff are helpful and vigilant. On one trip they even helped us change a flat tire.

Palacio Del Mar is right on the beach, and we love having morning coffee on the patio while watching the sun come up and listening to the waves. It’s always clean and quiet, pet friendly, and close to everything. Whale hill is right next to the property, and we enjoyed hiking up it. We liked staying here much more than at Busy and Loud Expensive Sandy Beach.

The condo stayed cool and fresh the whole time, and we all loved how comfortable it was. Amy was so sweet and helpful throughout the whole process and our stay. The security team was awesome too. We felt very safe, and they always got up to check it was us, no matter how often we went in and out. The pool is relaxing, and on weekends vendors come by with cocktails and massages. 10/10!

The condo was neat, modern, and nice, with amazing views. My kids had fun at the pool, and the jacuzzi was nice too. It’s only minutes from local stores and the Malecon. We had everything we needed except a microwave. The description said fully equipped, so I assumed there would be one, and that was a bummer. I chose this place for the gated property and 24-hour security, but on our last night the guard said the lot was full and we had to park outside the building, where there was no security. That wasn’t cool. The parking lot isn’t very big, and some people double park, so I think they shouldn’t let people with trailers park inside since they take up too much room. They also let people leave ATV's/Quads overnight in an area marked NO PARKING and LOADING & UNLOADING ONLY. That makes things inconvenient for anyone trying to use that spot to load or unload heavy items like luggage and coolers.
