My flight was delayed by several days and I was low on funds, but this very budget hotel found me a room with no notice. I was a little intimidated by staying at a hotel that wasn’t USA style and where English wasn’t spoken, but it turned out to be a very pleasant stay. The location is my favorite part of the Romantica zone, near everything but away from the loudest areas. Great hotel for the price.

A must for budget travelers. The AC works, someone is at the front desk 24/7, and guests can maintain their privacy. Everyone is very friendly.

The best thing about this economical hotel is its downtown location, which makes it worth the stay. You get a bed and bathroom, but that’s about all. No pool, no breakfast, and no parking, though you can try to park wherever you find a spot. It’s somewhere to shower, rest for a while, explore Vallarta all day, then come back and sleep. There are NO SERVICES.

They’re upfront that it’s an econo place, not a Marriott, and the price made that easy to accept. We stayed 12 nights for what three nights at a Hilton would’ve cost. Right in the heart of the Romantica district, so we could walk nearly everywhere. Definitely no frills.
