You’re paying for the location and the view. The building’s older, but the bed was comfy. We barely used the kitchen beyond the fridge, and having a jug of drinking water in the room was excellent.

We were comfortable and happy here, and I’ve already booked for next year. The location is amazing, with a great beach view from our room and the Rooftop. The pool, hot tub, and loungers made it a lovely place to hang out. There’s a restaurant up there too, though we didn’t eat there. We were in room 402, one of the 02 rooms, with a comfy king bed, good closet, nice bathroom, and a kitchenette with a fridge and basics for coffee or a simple meal. The grocery store across the street was handy. One disappointment was that Expedia advertised a balcony, but our room didn’t have one. Expedia eventually credited us the value of what a room with a balcony would cost. The staff were helpful and very nice, and the room was kept clean and maintained well. The area has good food and shops nearby, and it’s a quick walk to the maleacon and not much farther to Zona Romántica. In the 02 rooms, the sitting room with the kitchenette is dark and has no windows. The bedroom has a window, though people pass by on their way to the stairs or other rooms. We also saw the 03 rooms, which looked nice. They have a side window in the living area, chairs and a small couch, plus a terrace with a table and chairs. It isn’t very private, but it’s a good outdoor space. The first and second floors are farther inside the hotel, so only rooms on the 3 & 4 floors have ocean views.

We stopped here before heading to our resort. The location was perfect, the hotel was quiet, and our room was clean with a comfortable bed. It’s definitely an older place, but the staff kept it tidy and deserve 5 stars. They even returned our son’s headphones after he left them behind, and held our luggage for us. Breakfast on the top floor had a fabulous view, and the Mexican eggs we ordered were great.

Everyone was so nice, and the beach view and pool were beautiful. The location is great, really close to the malecon. They serve food, but I didn’t get to try it because of the activities we’d booked. I really recommend it.
