Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta - All-inclusive

We were a family group of about 30, there for my niece’s stunning wedding, and had such a great time. We’d worried about coming just four days after the unrest in town, but we’re so glad we did. The staff were incredible. Jocelyn and Diego from entertainment put on an epic foam pool party, and bartenders like Alejandro and David looked after us so well. Luis always had a smile and really stood out too. The food was delicious, with fresh, tasty choices at all the buffets. Our rooms were modern, comfortable, and full of amenities. We even saw whales from our balcony. Thanks for an incredible vacation, we’ll be back!

We booked a family photo session with the in-house photographer, Jonathan, and he was outstanding. He made it easy and fun, and we came away with memories we’ll really treasure. We had a relaxing, wonderful vacation here in February. Our club room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable. The service around the property was warm and attentive, and the restaurants had an impressive range of cuisines, all thoughtfully prepared. The beach felt serene and almost private, which added a lot to the stay.

The setting was picture perfect each morning, with the ocean and mountains out front, and the staff were kind. The restaurant teams were lovely too, even when the food disappointed. Blaze and the buffet were the best bets. Breakfast and lunch at the buffet were great, while the other places ranged from fine to poor. The Italian restaurant was worse than Olive Garden, and the "asian" place was abismal. That's how it goes at all-inclusives, I guess. A large family reunion group there behaved terribly. They let their kids, and even encouraged them, to keep entering the adults-only area. The children argued with the poor staff while their parents watched. They came across as pompous and arrogant, and it was gross. I felt bad for the staff.

Javier was such a fun part of our weekend. We decided he’s the resort mascot, since he’s everywhere, from water aerobics and ping pong to beach volleyball and hosting at the sports bar, where he showed off some amazing breakdancing. He added something really special to the trip. We were here for a good friend’s wedding and had the absolute best time. The hospitality, staff, and location were incredible. Thanks, Hyatt Ziva PV!
