Rosita Hotel

We were staying nearby in an airb&b for a month and came by to ask about a pool day pass, planning to buy food and drinks since the surf was too rough. First we were quoted $450 pesos for two. A week later, four people at the bar, including one who spoke great English, told us it was just $100 pesos each. So we planned to return the next day at 10am with four of us. Then a woman by the bar quoted $450 each, or $1800 for all four, with a $150 credit each for drinks. We weren't prepared for that and cancelled the whole day's plans. They should get together and make a clear rate chart. Not happy. $1800 to sit by the pool on a Monday? They got no money from us, though we would have bought food and drinks. Warning to others, prices change daily like the wind here.

Everything has been great so far, and the rooms are decent. It's in a great location. As the first hotel in PV, it is aged.

The staff paid little attention to us, and service was very slow. The restaurant food was only average at best. I won't be back.

We tried the buffet and thought it was great. The views from the restaurant were lovely, and the regular menu looked good too.
