Velas Resort Access Beachfront 3BR Condo

People still reserved chairs even though I believe the policy says they shouldn't. Staff tried to prevent it, but one morning we came down at 7:30 and every chair by the quieter pool was already taken. That's my only real complaint. Otherwise, this was the best family vacation we've had, and we can't wait to return. We spent a week here with our 14-year-old son and 12-year-old twins. The resort has a beautiful jungle-like feel, big pools and outstanding staff. When we had an AC issue, they fixed it right away and followed up to make sure we were happy. Servers were friendly and attentive, the food was excellent with something for everyone, and the kids loved playing in the waves at the beautiful beach. I also appreciated the clean grounds and consistent food and drinks.

Michele was so helpful as our wedding coordinator, answering all my questions quickly even when the wedding was still a year away. I had my wedding here in January 2026 and couldn't recommend the resort more. The beautiful gardens were one of the main reasons we chose it. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. I'd highly recommend it for a family stay or a weekend getaway.

The rooms are big and clean, and a quiet place to spend time when you need a break. There's always something planned during the day, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. My family and I have been coming to Velas for years, and each visit feels special because they get so much right. The food is always amazing and the service is spectacular all around the resort. Highly recommend a vacation here. Can't wait for next year!

A great place for the whole family. Roberto, the tennis pro here, is excellent if you play or want to learn. His coaching advice is practical and he's a lot of fun. He even showed my 2-year-old how to hit a tennis ball for the first time, and she loved it.
