The staff really made the trip for us. We were here during a stressful time, and they went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and happy. The room views were amazing, both pools were great, and all the public areas we spent time in, restaurants included, had a great view. I enjoyed the delicious chilaquiles and churros, and had a great time. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

We were really impressed by how the staff helped us after a scary situation came up off property, and got us safely back to the resort. Everyone there was wonderful. Villa Premiere is a quiet, beautiful adults-only resort right on the beach, with El Barracuda next door. Their steak tacos were AWESOME! It’s a short Uber ride or a long walk to central Puerto Vallarta and the Malecon boardwalk. We enjoyed the spa, and the food was quite good for an all-inclusive. The caramel coulant at the formal dinner restaurant and the al pastor ribs at the lunch restaurant were favorites. One thing to watch out for: we got drawn into a “vacation club” or “discount” timeshare presentation while the concierge was showing us the resort at check-in. Before we knew it, we’d agreed to a meeting. I wish we’d been blunt and pulled out beforehand. It went much longer than promised, and after we firmly said no, the presenter suddenly wasn’t friendly. That was our only negative interaction at the resort. We’re sold on small boutique adults-only resorts now.

Friends who are members recommended this place, and we loved our stay. From our lovely seventh-floor room, the view was great, and every staff member gave excellent service. It’s right on the beach, with downtown and local restaurants within walking distance, but far enough away to stay quiet. There was free coffee downstairs each morning, a swim-up bar, and chocolate on our pillows every night. What more could you ask for?

We’re a gay couple in our mid-thirties, pretty demanding and big foodies, and we loved our time here. Puerto Vallarta luxury is more relaxed than Cabo, and the hotels are older. The rooms felt more four-star, and things like pool tiles falling off could be annoying. On the plus side, the furniture was comfortable, new, and peaceful. We fell for the property, restaurants, and service. I loved every breakfast and every dinner at the two restaurants. Paul, the pool host, was a hoot, though he needs to cap his jokes at one a day, haha. Try the tuna tacos, cauliflower appetizer, chilaquiles, churros, and roasted pork shoulder. It’s an intimate resort with all the things you need, and there was almost a one-to-one staff to guest ratio, so the price felt extremely worth it. It’s a well-run independent hotel. The area is safe and quieter than the Romantica Zone, and Pepe’s down the street is a MUST for tacos. We’ll be back!

I’ve spent about 60 nights here and know a lot of the staff. They’re kind and professional. The beach is the best in town, and good for swimming. I walk south to Malecon every day, and both a grocery store and Pepe’s Tacos are less than a ten-minute walk away, with Pepe’s even closer. The rooms have commanding views of Bahia de Banderas. I like the chairs and table, and the shades are easy to use. I leave my door open and listen to the surf crashing day and night. It’s so nice to sleep to that.
