It was $55 a night. The room was freezing, with no way to change the temperature, and needed a blanket. It also looked like it had flooded before, since the laminate floor was damaged. Water from the sink ran out like chocolate milk for 30 seconds, so I wouldn't use it to brush my teeth and used bottled water instead. The shower water was fine and nice and hot. Breakfast was great and free, and the restaurants just across the street made things really convenient.

I’ve stayed here every time I visit Reynosa, Mexico, and never had an issue. It feels very safe, the rooms are big enough, and the prices are reasonable. I paid 40 US dollars a night, about 900 pesos. Breakfast is served free every morning, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I use Google Translate to talk with them. The hotel is across the street from all the stores, so shopping is easy. The mall next door has lots of old-school shops, including Radio Shack, Woolworth, and a few other stores that used to be open in the US.

It was cold when I stayed, and the window wouldn't shut completely. Wind noise and something banging on the building kept me from sleeping. There was no heat in the room, just thin blankets.

The customer service is great, and I love that they welcome puppies. The rooms need an upgrade, though, and the mattresses should be replaced.
