Hotel San Andres

I came back two years later and ended up, without realizing it, in the old section. The room was tiny, ugly, and depressing, and they wouldn't refund me. The nicer new section had no rooms available, so we were very disappointed and stuck there. My first stay had been much better. The hotel was new, clean, modern, quiet, and well located downtown, with good prices and great service. Petra from the cleaning staff was a sweetheart, and the elevator worked well when I stayed on the fifth floor. I'd definitely planned to return.

The restaurant in the lobby is excellent, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with service until 11 PM. The hotel is near the town park and cathedral, and the town's big letters are just around the corner. A taxi ride gets you to the ADO bus station. El Salto de Eyipantla, Catemaco, Santiago Tuxtla, and Sontecomapan are all nearby. It's the best hotel in San Andrés Tuxtla and the region, in my view. The rooms are clean and spacious, with AC, and the bathroom and shower were clean too. They clean and sanitize daily. Please follow local and municipal COVID19 rules, cover up, and enjoy your visit.
