Nadia at the front desk was a treasure, and the Wi-Fi worked great. The shower was hot and lovely, too. The rest of the stay was rough: room 217 was small, with two tiny vents opening into a shaft capped with glass, so there was no air movement. The bathroom was cramped enough that I had to turn about 30 degrees to sit on the toilet, and there was no hot water tap on the basin. Before 6 a.m., the hotel cistern was filled, and fumes from the pump came up through the shaft. The cleaning staff were cheerful but loud, starting at 6:15 a.m. at the bottom of that acoustically perfect air shaft. This is an extremely noisy hotel.
