The restaurant is open only from 8 to 1, and the food was great. I’m really glad I picked this place outside town. My dog had lots of room to roam alongside their friendly dogs. It was easily the best stay for comfort, safety, and friendliness, and it left me wanting to come back.

The grounds have plenty of room to run, play soccer, or throw a frisbee, and the rooms are comfortable. We also enjoyed the restaurant: there are lunch specials, and on Sundays they serve a buffet with a range of Mexican dishes. At our wedding, many guests said the dinner was one of the best they’d ever had. The hotel makes its own Pox, so try a fruity one, or the natural flavor if you’re feeling adventurous. It’s around 10 to 15 minutes from downtown, which meant a quiet, peaceful place to unwind after a long day of travel. The front desk can arrange a cab in advance, for at least $40 MXN. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help with what we needed during our vacation. Everything about our stay was perfect, and I’d highly recommend it for couples or families.

The little restaurant is great for breakfast or brunch. The hotel sits in the forest, a lovely escape from the noise downtown. I loved it.
