Hotel Suculenta Boutique

There are only 8 rooms, and the place is very chic, with L'occitane products and a real focus on sustainability. The rooftop bar has cool drinks, and the coffee experience with the lovely Fernnda was great. But the rooms have no AC, and the bar noise carries on until midnight. They also arranged a tour guide for us who wasn't the best.

We returned on a Sunday morning a week after our first visit, this time to eat on the rooftop terrace, and the service was TERRIBLE. Several menu items weren't available, nobody checked in on us, and it took forever for anything to happen. The workers seemed like teens who didn't know what they were doing. At our first visit, someone at the front desk showed us the bar and restaurant but said photos were prohibited unless we ate 😆. For somewhere that makes that demand, the service was laughable. It's ridiculous to act so pretentious when the basics aren't covered. Please get a reality check. You're a tiny boutique hotel nobody's heard of in San Cristóbal, not the Ritz Carlton in New York. 🙄 For a rooftop bar and restaurant, try Kinoki on the corner of Benito Juárez and real de Guadalupe. There are more food options, and the servers won't forget about you on the roof.

The hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated, and it's a very nice place. There's a bar and small restaurant on the roof, but their loud music disturbs guests. Breakfast is served in another restaurant by the entrance. The hotel staff are kind.

I stopped by the terrace cocktail spot, Ginger Bar. No idea why it doesn't have its own Google Maps listing, because it's the business. The cocktails are incredible and not the usual generic stuff, these folks are mixologists. You get spectacular rooftop views, patio heaters, and blankets if you need them. Daniel and Fernanda were super nice. Highly recommend 👍
