The room was the main letdown: dated, dusty, and so poorly insulated that we heard people passing in the hall, while the cold in February made it hard to rest. Breakfast was disappointing, too, and service was slow. The location near the main square made it easy to explore, and the staff were kind. When our toilet clogged late one night, an employee came to fix it, which we appreciated. The interior patio and restaurant area had a bit of charm. I’d usually rate the comfort at two stars, but the helpful staff bring my rating to three.

We had two rooms next to each other on the top floor, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms with two double beds are a little cramped, but we were just steps from the historic center. The place was charming, with nice furnishings, a lovely staff, and it was super clean. There’s no elevator, though the stairs were fine for us. We drove, and the included parking felt very secure, but it was four blocks away. A great little option in San Cristóbal!
