Everything is within walking distance from this excellent location, including restaurants, cafes, shops, transport, and Central Park. The staff were excellent and booked a tour to El Chiflon/Montebello Lakes for me, at much less than the same tour cost through TripAdvisor. I stayed six days in early February 2026 and would 100% come back. The room was spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. It was one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in, despite its age. There's no heating or cooling in the room, so mornings felt chilly when it was 3c outside, but the bed was cozy and extra blankets were available.

The food was very well prepared, the service was good, and prices were competitive. The hotel is small but nice, with an OK room. Location is one of the best in San Cristóbal, less than two blocks from the center.

I didn't stay at the hotel, but I bought tours at the reception. The deals here were the best I found in San Cristobal, with the cheapest tours around 😊 I loved the full-day Sumidero Canyon tour for 400$.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. Noise was constant. I could hear people talking in the lobby from my room, street sounds, and guests showering in other rooms. The rooms are tiny, there's no air conditioning, and they only provide one soap. There's no soap in the shower, so you have to step out and reach for the one by the sink. No Kleenex, either. Breakfast is included, but we had to go around the corner to eat, though it wasn't far. There's no restaurant and no drawers for unpacking, only a closet. On top of all that, it was expensive, and the woman at the front desk was very rude.

For the price, this is the best option. It's cheap, clean, well equipped, and amazingly located, with spacious rooms. The staff are kind and honest, and give great advice.
