The service was what made this such a great stay. Everyone we met was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Meals were a delight too, from the fresh breakfast spreads to the upscale dining, with excellent flavors and presentation. The multi tiered infinity pools were clean and spacious, perfect for relaxing in the sun. The property has a peaceful, tucked away feel while still being easy to reach, and the ocean views throughout were breathtaking. The beach itself was immaculate, with beautiful sand for walks and sunset watching, though the sea in this area generally isn't swimmable because of strong currents. An incredible luxury stay from start to finish. We can't wait to return to JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa!

The rooms are large and nice, and the food is good, but we left with a negative experience and wouldn't recommend the property for its price. Multiple taxi desk attendants and bellhops were involved in us getting scammed. When I reported it to Marriott, they said the property's management would contact me within five business days. More than twice that time has passed, and I've heard nothing. The resort is so far from everything that you're stuck there unless you're willing to take long taxi rides. About half the staff were attentive, while the rest seemed not to want to be bothered. Cocktails were hit or miss, and everything was priced like it was in the U.S. The bill didn't feel justified by the overall service.

Gustavo at UA Culinary Artisans really made our visit stand out. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly loves his work. His suggestions were great, and he made the experience feel personal rather than transactional. The views were beautiful, the pools were perfect for relaxing all day, and everything felt well cared for without being over the top. We had a fantastic stay at JW Marriott Los Cabos and would absolutely come back. If you want to unwind and be treated well, this is the place.

The resort was quiet even during peak spring break, in early April 2026. Despite Mexico's lower legal drinking age, there weren't drunk teenagers or college kids around. I had a wonderful, relaxing family vacation. My second floor room in building A looked out over a saltwater pool, with only a limited ocean view. It was beautiful and had a huge walkout patio, where I loved sipping the complimentary in room espresso each morning. The spa's 90 minute deep tissue massage was wonderful. I didn't use the other spa facilities because the area felt muggy and humid compared with the dry heat outside. We ate nearly every meal at the hotel, with just one dinner out in San José del Cabo. The deli, poolside service, lobby bar and restaurant, outdoor restaurant by the pool, and breakfast were all great. The staff were so kind and helpful. I hope they're paid fairly and that guests tip them well. I fell in love with Mexico and the resort and hope to return next year. I even bought the little box that held the complimentary bath salts in my room as a keepsake.
