SM Apartments

The pool loungers were worn and uncomfortable, some even tearing, and the grounds looked overgrown and poorly maintained. In the apartment, basics were missing: no hangers, paper towels, dishcloths, dish soap, cooking flipper, or blender. There was only one set of towels, a bathroom-sized trash can in the kitchen, and no extra bags. We had no hot water in the mornings, only at night, and the Wi-Fi never worked. I paid over $1000 CAD for a week and was very disappointed. I could have stayed somewhere much nicer. I spoke with other guests, and they were disappointed too and said they wouldn’t return. I won’t either. I appreciated being allowed to check in early, but they put me in the wrong room. I hadn’t received the room I booked, a balcony king bed suite that looked much nicer in the photos. Instead, I got a two-bed ground-floor room with a patio facing a concrete wall. Staff said the mistake was theirs, not booking.com, but the booked room was no longer available and they did nothing to fix it. They assured me the price was unchanged, but I couldn’t verify whether I’d paid more for a cheaper room. The apartment I received was also missing the essential items from the one I originally booked.
