Hotel Posada Arcos

Being able to check in at 6am was really convenient, so that's why I'm giving it two stars. The room was tiny, and every sound carried. The door wall was mostly a window onto the main hallway, with a curtain so thin and short that people passing could see inside. The beds were too hard, the toilet wouldn't flush right, and the shower drained so slowly that water spilled into the rest of the bathroom. The wifi never worked. I won't stay here again.

The one thing going for it is the location, right in front of the church and plaza. We rented two rooms, and one AC unit didn't work. The beds were hard, the rooms were noisy, and the curtains let in the light. There was brown water and broken toilet faucets, plus no clear help or assistance with transportation. Poor service.

For what they charge, this place is overpriced. The bed was awful, the place was dirty, and there was no phone or enough outlets. Being close to the church doesn't excuse those conditions, even for religious visitors. If you're paying that price hoping for a better place to stay, this isn't it. It's a business, not some church location.

It's a simple place, which makes sense when the main draw is being able to get to the church right away. There are also small businesses all around if you're looking for good prices and merchandise.
