The included parking was easy to use, and we had a good view from our room. But we found bed bugs, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable and noisy. The bathroom extractor was very loud, too. Our room key deactivated every new day, so we had to go downstairs to get it sorted.

I went to a wedding in the top-floor Sky Room and tried to stay at the hotel. Even though rooms were available and there was plenty of parking, a security staff member, a short person wearing a light gray Spanish beret, refused to let me drive into the lot. That’s how they greeted a potential guest, so I’d say don’t go. I was glad it happened because I ended up at a fantastic hotel 3 and a half blocks away on Av. Carranza, across from an Office Depot. It was beautiful, quiet, very clean, and the staff were super friendly.

This hotel has been open for 50 years and is still in great condition. It’s in the best location in town, and the staff are great. Remember to tip them, including the people who clean your room. They live on tips but never ask. $20 PESOS NOT DOLLARS IS FAIR, PER EVENT.

We’ve stayed here almost every year since 2004, most recently in June 2019, and we love it. The staff have always been great to us, and it’s close to everything downtown. The breakfast buffet was very good. Parking was convenient, though the area was still under construction. I hope to return. Loved it.

6/10
The location is good, near the center, and the hotel has free parking for guests. Non-guests can also park there for an extra fee. Housekeeping was clean, and the strong shower pressure made for a comfortable shower. The room carpet looked dirty, and the bed was old, a little hard, and not quite flat. There were lots of leaves floating in the pool.
