The first floor party lounge is the worst part. The music carries into the restaurant and reception, and from the second floor it feels like you’re right in the party, making sleep nearly impossible. Rooms are a good size, and the location works well for business, near the industrial area. There’s no fridge to keep drinks or my chocolate cold. The restaurant has a decent range of food and drinks, though sometimes food is cold or kept heating too long. The lava cake, for instance, was left in the oven until the chocolate had thickened. Internet was fine for YouTube at 720p, but live streams weren’t great.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. My room was hot when I arrived, the sheets were dirty and had to be changed by the front desk, and the shower head didn’t work right. The gym is small and crowded. The staff were the reason this wasn’t a one-star review. Two days later, they were very kind about the problems and apologized several times.

The soundproofing advertised on the website didn’t match my experience. I could hear my neighbor talking and coughing all the time. Still, I’d stay again for a short visit. The rooms were cleaned daily and came with two bottles of water, and the restaurant was good and affordable. It took about 20 minutes to get to GM, so it worked well for work. Service was pretty good, too. When some staff didn’t know English, they used their phones to communicate, which was a nice gesture. The front desk assistants spoke fluent English and Spanish.

The included breakfast was great every day, and the service was excellent. The room was small and had no minibar area, but it was worth the price. The hotel sits at the entrance to San Luis Potosi, near the Industrial area and about 15 minutes from downtown.
