There were lots of mosquitoes and fruit flies because the window screens didn’t work, and I got several bites overnight. The tile floors were dirty, partly from hard water stains. The kitchenware is limited too. It’s okay for a short stay, but I wouldn’t find it comfortable for several days. The hostess is very nice and speaks English well. It’s a chance to support a starving artist and experience local life in SMA. If you want American comforts, I’d look somewhere else.
