I loved it! The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms are huge by San Miguel Allende standards. You wouldn’t expect such a beautiful room inside this building. There’s a terrace used for breakfast that anyone can access after breakfast, too. Afternoons are so calm there, and I think it makes a romantic spot if you come with a S.O. The rooms are amazing.

Breakfast is served every morning on a beautiful rooftop patio, and it’s included with the stay. This is a really nice small boutique hotel, with clean rooms, very comfortable beds, and spacious bathrooms.

We enjoyed our two nights here. The rooms are clean and modern, and the staff are friendly and helpful. You can reach them on what’s app if you need anything, and they’ll hold your bags if you arrive before check in. The complimentary breakfast, cooked by Miriam, tastes like a home cooked meal. Coffee, orange juice, fruit with yogurt and granola, chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and huevos divorcados were all delicious. It’s quite a trek downhill and up stairs, so we called Ubers or taxis from the hotel to get closer into town.

The staff were patient, understanding, and so helpful, even though I didn’t know the language. They arranged a ride when we needed one, and while the hotel isn’t within walking distance of the square, we enjoyed walking and seeing the town. The view from the rooftop is amazing, with the town below, and you’re right there for the street festivities. Breakfast was amazing, and the cook was awesome. Thank you for a beautifully crazy week! I’m so pleased with how well you took care of us and how quickly you helped make my daughter and son in law’s rehearsal dinner amazing. Take time to visit this beautiful place. Ask the team for help and communicate with them, they’ll make sure your stay is worth it. Thank you Casa Arum!

The rooms were a bit smaller than I expected, but that was fine. We got free bottled water each day and coffee in the room. The location is good, up a hill with a lovely view. It’s a 15-minute walk to El Centro, or you can take an Uber if you’d rather skip the hills. Ours might cost between $2-5USD. There are also lots of green taxis, which are verified. I think they’ll take you anywhere in town for 80 pesos. There are little corner stores nearby for water, juice, soda, or snacks, plus a small restaurant across the street where a lady sells carnitas. You can get a delicious torta for 35 pesos, and there’s a popular restaurant about a two-minute walk away. I had a wonderful stay at Casa Arum. The staff were so accommodating and wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. There’s a great rooftop seating area to relax and enjoy the city views. Breakfast is served up there on weekends, too. I’d definitely recommend Casa Arum.
