The pool is tiny, so it’s not really possible to swim in it. Still, this place was a bargain, and Mesa Marrakesh, a wonderful restaurant, is only a few blocks away. My room was comfortable and pleasantly designed, with a microwave and refrigerator. It was one of the quietest places I’ve found in Mexico, apart from the Catholic COHETES, which seem unavoidable everywhere but were at least more contained here.

The bed was super hard and had a hump, and the inside room felt dreary, right in front of the community area. There wasn’t a balcony, just doors that looked like balcony doors. The outside door had a broken lock that was never repaired. The location was okay, but what the ad described and what the room actually was, I have no words for.
