We stayed two nights, and it was a very good choice in San Miguel de Allende. The hotel is only a five-minute walk from the church, taxis can reach it, and it’s a good location for karaoke and nice cafes. Check-in was quick, and the admin greeted us with the key and helped us get to our rooms. We had a simple room with three beds, basic furnishings, and extra-thick blankets in the cabinet. The beds were comfortable enough to sleep through the night, though it got too cold halfway through our first night since there was no heater. The blankets helped a lot. The toilet was okay, and we only had shampoo and soap. The shower had hot and cold water. I liked that there was a bathtub, though it looked a bit old. We dropped off laundry around 12nn and got it back around 9pm, which was helpful since we were running out of clothes. Breakfast was good. We had pancakes, bacon, eggs, and coffee, and they also offer things like French toast. Everything tasted good.

Cozy spot right in the centre of San Miguel. I did miss having windows a little, but I loved the restaurant on the terrace, the garden, and all the paintings on the walls.

There’s a lovely view from the terrace where you can have breakfast, and the back area is a nice, quiet place to sit. The hotel has its own feel and is close to everything. There’s no TV, but I wasn’t there to lounge in my room anyway. A great place for the price, highly recommend it.

I spent a couple of afternoons reading in the beautiful back patio, and the rooftop was a calm spot for coffee and fruit every morning. I also tried the huevos rancheros and enjoyed them. The staff were extremely helpful, and Sandra was amazing. The room was pretty basic, but the price and quality were great for what I paid. It’s centrally located for getting to El Charco, the main parts of town, and El Mirador. Great vibes here.

The price, location, and view are hard to beat. It’s a plus that they offer laundry service. There’s lunch on-site, but no dinner or alcohol. The staff are friendly.
