Edit: Hope fixing your card reader took less time than replying to this review. The only real plus was the very convenient location. We were woken repeatedly by noise from the other rooms, and I’d call this more of a hostel than a hotel. The room was tiny and a bad deal compared with our other accommodation in Cozumel. We thought we might get some value from the pool, but it was very small, sad, and dirty. The card reader didn’t work, so they insisted on cash. We had pesos and dollars, but they charged an unfavorable exchange rate for dollars, overcharging us for the room. Also, don’t come unless you speak Spanish well. Reception made no effort to bridge the language gap, even though they could have pointed or written down numbers, so we had to rely on my not-great Spanish.

The rooms were clean and cool, and we had warm water. The price was fair and the stay comfortable.

Great place, and very good value for the money.

I had an amazing time here. It’s a quiet spot in town, close to the ferry and local life, with a comfortable garden and rooms and a clean pool. The ocean is only a few blocks away, and it’s right next to the best mezcal bar in Cozumel!
