Hotel La Casona Real

You can walk to most places from here, so it's a good choice for a budget-friendly stay. Breakfast costs extra, but it isn't very expensive. The hotel is really nice, and the staff impressed me with how kind they were. They seem to be family, or at least act like family, and they treat guests that way too.

The courtyard pool felt private, and breakfast could be ordered there. You need to walk to reach the water, but the hotel is in town, and staying there made us feel like locals. We were there for a week, and the staff were wonderful. The whole hotel was impeccably clean. If we return to Cozumel, I'd absolutely stay again. Thanks for giving us Americans such an authentic stay. Lovely!

The location downtown was very convenient, and the pool area was lovely. The hotel was well kept, with soft bedsheets, and the women working there kept everything so clean. I had to leave very early each morning before breakfast. On the first morning, one of the women ran after me to check that I was okay. I'd definitely come back.

We booked here as a last resort because the places we'd originally wanted were full, but it's been a very good stay so far. For the money, it's a very, very good place. The included breakfast was good, the service from the staff has been very good, and everything is clean, with a fresh smell and good sheets. If you're looking for a quiet room, you may want to ask for one away from the street. We're on the street side and can hear some vehicle noise late at night.
